Transformation

by Xilyy   Dec 24, 2007

A cover of black satin quilts the sky
Devours the noise of day
The angry charcoal wolf sprints high
And chases the light away

The full moon illuminates the lake
Silver light forms a glistening trail
The whistle of wind tries to disguise
The fluffy, canine tail

It's time is near and it shall fight
The city and forest is theirs
They are free from human life
Along with thoughts and cares

Among the forest it lurks awaiting
Searching for the perfect prey
But light disperses and it flees
Chased by the burning day
