In the dark

The dark pink blossoming tree
That stands away from the rest
In the middle of this tree there
Lays a gold and sliver layered nest
In this beautifully constructed nest
There is a young girl of golden hair
And she waits for her lover in anticipation
But she is there for hours in despair
When he wasn't anywhere to be seen
Crystal tears fell down her rosy cheeks
And sitting in her simple dress
She searches over misty mountain peaks
Over looking the lush woods
She tries to climb down the etched bark
Stumbling down onto the soft ground
She walks alone in the silent dark
And as she walks on bare feet
Only now she sees that it isn't what it seems
That the elegance fades to waste
Through the trees she sees bright beams
Following the light into a trap
She trips on a sharp poisoned stick
It tore at her ankles and a seeping red ran
It was this time and place she had to pick
Her love was on the hard and gravely floor
But a knife to her neck she couldn't retrieve him
Her love or her life time was nearly up
At this point she had to answer into the dim
With a soft yet sad voice that came from her
Ruby red lips said

I will use my last breath to say I LOVE YOU.

On the floor with her white dress now red she
Is silent never to speak again to him
But he lay next to her with his deep blue eyes
Looking into her soul he wept till the end in this cold hearted place. In the silent darkness
