Why i love her

by Yazdan   Dec 27, 2007

Once upon a time
Two years ago
A friend of yours asked
Why i love you so
I stood there silent
Trying to think of the words
To explain to her the causes
Of this powerful urge
I spent long days
Hearing countless love songs
To try and explain to her
How i can feel so strong
I made no progress
No incredible find
So when she asked me again
I simply spoke my mind

Oh, she makes me laugh
she's in my dream
she lets me fly
With love's golden wings
She's a miracle
She set me free
She make me want to be
All i can be
She's the candle in the darkness
Where no other light will shine
She make me tipsy
Like beer, rum and wine
When she laughs, I'll laugh
When she cries, I'll cry
The thing i fear most
Is our possible goodbye
I love her so much
Can't you see
She make me so happy
When she say that she loves me
I want to be hers
I want her to be mine
'Cause this love that we'll share
Will know no time
When all is said
And all is done
When the drums stop beating
And the song is done
I want to be there with her
To share our last breath
I'll love her always
Even after death

So next time she wondered
Why i love you so
I told her to remember this
And then she'll know

Now here we are
I'm talking here with you
Your gorgeous face
Completes the joyous view
Spending time with you
Is better than the best of my dreams
You're a perfect miracle
Dressed in deep blue jeans
You turned to me then
Then looked into my eyes
You tilted your head slightly
And then asked me why
"Why do you love me?
I just can't see
This angel that
You describe as me
I'm curious to know
Why you love me so
And no matter how hard you try
You just can't let go"
With two strong arms
I pulled you close
And whispered to you
What you'll remember most
I had it planned for ages
For almost a year
And the words flowed out
Strong and clear

Oh, you make me laugh
You're in my dream
You let me fly
With love's golden wings
You're a miracle
You set me free
You make me want to be
All i can be
You're the candle in the darkness
Where no other light will shine
You make me tipsy
Like beer, rum and wine
When you laugh, I'll laugh
When you cry, I'll cry
The thing i fear most
Is our possible goodbye
I love you so much
Can't you see
You make me so happy
When you say that you love me
I want to be yours
I want you to be mine
'Cause this love that we'll share
Will know no time
When all is said
And all is done
When the drums stop beating
And the song is done
I want to be there with you
To share our last breath
I'll love you always
Even after death

Take your time
Think it through
I want your answer
To be sure and true
We can give it a try
And in case it fails
We'll have our friendship
And thats what prevails
I'll wait here patiently
As time passes by
Anticipating for
Your thoughtful reply
