Your emily

by Steffini   Dec 28, 2007

He turns my tears to roses,
Every time. with a gaze my way,
Longing for the taste of forever in his arms,
I realize tomorrow is never promised today.

I watched his every move.
"From First To Last",
Gently creating a motion of song.
It's bliss to my ears....the moment...gone so fast.

I wish i were his Emily,
His everything that he would ever need,
"Thunderstorms could never stop me",
From wanting to be his Emily.

Wishing i would have taken the chance,
Regret runs deep inside my bones.
The chance i had, once layed before me.
I missed out on a love undiscovered, so unknown.

Absence makes the heart grow stronger,
But it scares me to think it was always true.
that even though you love me no longer,
the one thing I've always wanted was you.

My tears no longer fall, they crash around me.
I'm all alone...scared....so empty....
Thunderstorms have no choice now, but to stop me
But i still wish i could have been his Emily.

I wanted to be your Emily.

{ you have to have heard the song "emily" by "from first to last" or u wont get it..}
