I don't love people easily,
I'm sorry that you do.
It's sad but I won't lie,
I never trusted you.

The time we spent together,
Has turned to nothing good,
No making future plans,
Like you had thought we would.

I'm sorry for the heartache,
And all the sorrow I have brought,
Was love supposed to hurt so much?
It was nothing like i thought.

I hate to have to say this,
Yet I wont let it all be...
YOU DID NOTHING WRONG,
THE PROBLEMS WERE ALL ME.

You didn't make false promises,
Or ever let me down,
Even at my very worst,
You always stuck around.

But I'm just too self absorbed,
Too caught up in my days,
For me to ever devote myself,
To you in any sort of way.

I still care about you a lot,
I don't think we can be friends.
Because I can't meet you half way,
& I don't want to love, ever again.'

Perhaps what hurts the most,
Is knowing who I have burned,
I took so much from you,
Giving nothing back in return.

You truely are an angel,
Like no one I've met before,
Please, don't waste tears on me,
YOU DESERVE SO MUCH MORE.

So as I end this letter just know,
That it nearly killed me to say goodbye,
It hurts to not be with you,
However I just can't live a lie...
