The air is thick with tension as i enter the room
As i round the corner i am nervous that you won't be my lover
I catch your eyes and they answer it all
All of a sudden a crowded room has turned to just you and me you're all i can see
I can't help but smile as you stare at me
I take my place beside you, our hands brush but it feels right
As the film roles I find myself not watching it as i look over at you i notice that your eyes haven't left me
Your head falls on my shoulder and my heart skips a beat as you whisper into my ear
And sometimes we don't say anything at all but all i need is right here by my side
You can't keep your hands off me and i love it
All other people come to focus as the film ends
Now you have to act the part around your friends but as soon as we're alone you tell me i'm beautiful
I leave but i can't stand being without you so i make my way back and i meet you half way you grab my hand and lead me back
We lay togeather and listen to eachothers hearts race
And i'll never forget the sound of the movie dense from my thoughts and the scent of my hair as you twirled it in your fingers
I could have laid there all night as you held me painlessly but i could feel you letting go
You put your hands on my hips and you kissed me like you meant it
And i knew that you meant it.
