Intruder

by HidinVictim   Jan 4, 2008

A confusing mess
Thats what she feels
Said you loved her
But thats not how she felt
Could learn to love you, possibly
A man so sweet
He would do anything for her
He listens and talks to her
An intruder
She was so sure
She had your heart
But she let it fall apart
He stole her from you
You don't even have a clue
Wild and crazy
He knew what to do
Made her feel that thing
She never felt for you
A physical attraction
That stole your baby from you
Where just friends
That what she said
As he touched her
In places you had never even seen
A confusing mess
Thats what she feels
Thoughts she had his heart
So she let yours fall apart
He layed her
Then played her
And now she's coming back to your arms
When he could have her
He stopped even speaking
Now your arms happen to be filled by me
Her new worst enemy.

OK so this was originally a song, turned poem but i don't really like it but please tell me what you think.

This poem isn't that bad...the message is great! You have a lot of talent don't worry to much about not liking it. It sort of reminds me of the quote don't leave the one you love for the one you like because the one you like will leave you for the one you love. Over all this was a great poem, it was clear with a good choice of words, and I think it would make a great song!
Only thing in this sentence I think you mean 'were' instead of where:
    Where just friends

  • Now this poem was absolutely amazing. The imagery and the flow fit just perfect. the word usage is great. Great job!
