Death will not part us

by CoUrTnEy   Jan 5, 2008

Once upon a moonlit snow
A solemn phrase your eyes bestowed

Holding strong with all your might
But softly still, you held me tight

Hid beneath your gentle touch
My eyes escaped the gift you clutched

Packaged sweetly a ring you bared
A lasting present to show you cared

Glancing up from bended knee
Your stance portrayed a silent plea

Your lips met mine just like a dream
then I answered with a joyful scream

Years have past and so have you
But time stands still until I'm through

I do not live without a tear
But my guardian angel is always near

Calm we wait together strong
Although still apart, for you I long

But now with age return I will
With happy cries your arms I'll fill
