Lets play a Game

by Hannah Emellia   Jan 6, 2008

Let's play a game, my willful comrade-
Let's set the stakes alarmingly;
Let's make the cost a precious one,
Let's keep it secret- you and me.

If you lose, you will pay dearly;
I think I'll mention your chance is bleak...
So play with me; friend, toss another coin,
And hope to god you break my lucky streak.

Of course this is a game of truth,
There's no room for any lies- deceit,
And if either of us are caught lying...
The loser lays the winnings at the other's feet.

If I lose- I'll pay you gladly,
I'd give anything to you,
Of course I'd never dare to tell-
Just state your want and I will pay my due.
