Although we had a big age difference
actually 3 years apart
you being 19, me being 16
you for many years held my heart

everyone said we would never make it
love said we would
look at us now
we gave this relationship all we could

they wont last a week
is what the town had to say
but we fell so hard for each other
and grew stronger each day

on Christmas eve
people told us we was to young

it was 2 weeks til Christmas
and we got our wedding date
