Her Sin

by Loveless   Jan 6, 2008

Tears fall down her overwhelmed cheeks,
as she stands in the rain crying.
She hates knowing she can't have the one she seeks,
and she thinks it's only her, left here, dying.

She walks cold and alone trusting no one,
because love bounds her to the forbidden.
Yet her head tries to tell her she's done,
or at least make her emotions hidden.

Confusion strikes her face again and again,
as the tears come more and more.
No one could ever understand her sin,
No one knows that she'll love him till she's tore.

This poem was so sad. It set off some emotions inside me and touched my heart. I can totally relate to this piece, as I'm sure others will be able to as well. Nice flow and I loved your choice of words. 5/5 <3 <3 <3
