Laying here, looking up at the stars, i think of you. I wish you were here, laying next to me. The only sound to be heard, is the sound of waves crashing on the silent beach. It is so peaceful here. There would be no one to disturb us, if only you were here. We could lok up at the skys, and listen to the surroundings. To the waves, the birds, the crickets. Everything is usually so joyous here, yet now, it only makes me sad, because you are not here. So, I lay here, alone. Listening to the surounding sounds, looking up at the sky. Thinking of how it would be, if only you were here. The moon is shining brightly in the sky. It calms me. The tears are now gone, and the cries for you, no more. I sit up, and the wind blows through my hair. In it, I hear your voice, so soothing, so comforting. I miss your arms around me. Making me feel so safe. Alone on this beach, I feel in danger. Nothing here to defend me, and no one here to protect me. I feel helpless, like I'm putting myself out there. For someone, or something, to hurt me. If only you were here, I wouldn't feel this way. I would feel what I do when you are here. The sun has already set, and the stars are in the sky. I look at them, wishing you are here. I lay back down. If only you were here, we could be laying here together. Me in your arms. Wishing it would be that way forever. If only you were here.
