The Little Doll

by Carly   Jan 12, 2008

A porcelain doll sits on the shelf
as a worthless decoration
Feeling tortured and abandoned,
God's forgotten creation
Sadness builds inside her heart
and yet she can never cry
It devours her from inside
from behind those blue eyes
People stop to admire
but never to claim as their own
All she wants is somebody to love,
To hold her close and take her home
