Wont mend

Amazing, some things
how is it this way

i can remember
just the other day

you were calling my phone
wanting to talk

telling me you care you
would always be there

now times are rough and
your running away

i really believed
you were here to stay

my heart wont mend,
the way it has before

cause when you left
you took it with you

so far away i feel
like you are

now im trying to find
the northern star

looking all around
searching myself

i cant not seem to
find a way out of this mess

you told me you wouldnt
but then you did

you left part of me here
to wonder what can happen next

where do i turn
i guess this is a lesson
i just had to learn
