An apology in advance
For your broken heart
I'll spare you one last glance
I've seen this coming from the start

One last kiss, it goes too fast
I'm sorry that I lied to you
I should've told you we wouldn't last
And there was nothing you could do.

Five months, it has gone by
I'm sorry you wasted your time
I'll spare you one last lie,
"I Love You," in a rhyme

An apology in advance
For tearing up your heart
I'll spare you one last glance
Sorry I tore you apart...

    I like the sincerity in this poem. I also like how it's different because I'm so used to reading poems about being in love, or getting your heart broken, but this is from the other point of view. Nice and original. I like your rhyming and most of the time your flow is alright. Except for in the first stanza, that last line is too long so it put me off a lot.
