Love and memories

by Mat   Jan 18, 2008

I walk up to my room and there you lay
your hair is brushed away from your eyes
with my pillow clenched tight against your body
as if you were wishing it was me

I rested my hand on top of yours
and i can feel your heart beating
your warm touch awoke me inside
and with that touch i never felt so alive

the sun shined in through my blinds
it lit up my room perfectly
it looked like my room was only lit by candle lite
and in that moment you have never looked so beautiful

as i laid next to you my heart started to sink in
and my hands shook
when you opened your eyes and gazed at me
my eyes teared up, because i have never been so happy

as i leaned in to kiss your lips
you meet me half way
an explosion inside took me over
i felt a warm sensation throughout my body

with our body's pressed up against one another
our hearts beat as one
it was if we were two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly
thats when our souls meet

it was the first time i have ever made love
i wanted it to last forever
i want to see her ever expression
i knew that we were meant to be together

(this is not really a poem its just me writing out one of my memories not in any poetic form but just venting...there will be more to add ha ha)
