R.S.V.P

by Neil Marsden   Jan 18, 2008

THE INVITATION

But dawn-break born,
A love had yet,
To take first,
Vital breath.

THE ACCEPTANCE

The sun broke then,
As if like other days,
Mundane in repetitious ways.
But from that sunlight,
Burned the spark.
To ignite lives,
Before the dark.
You came as if,
Already there.
A love inviting,
Should I dare.
