The Ghost of Who You Were

by Mimi   Jan 19, 2008

I've fallen and i know it
and i hate it
but live with it

I don't know how it happened,
I was cautioned
but impassioned.

I saw a tiny ghost of who you used to be

Who I wanted to be with
was like a myth,
Erased forthwith.

Now you've turned conceited,
More abstorted
I'm defeated.

I've seen you crush my friends
Without amends,
Following trends.

But still I had no clue.
Rose tinted view
Of hearts you screw.
But I construe;
Bid you adieu

Then am sucked back with tactful tricks
just like all he other chicks
in this fix, which depicts

Just how lost that ghost is now;
like us mistreated,
Maybe depleted.

Still I am yet learn,
It's wrong to yearn
For it's angelic return.

i know the syntax is weird but that constant trend got on my nerves
