Friendship

by Valentin   Jan 19, 2008

We met once in 9th grade
Days turned to weeks and we began to speak.
A "Hey" there and a "Hello" there
Soon made a simple friendship.
I always saw you
As a smart, really pretty girl
And I still do.
The weeks passed and turned into years.
In the time in between
Our friendship grew.
What more can I possibly ask from you?
I'm happy for what you've given me
Although we hardly talked or hung out much
Seeing you and saying "What's up!?"
Showed me that our friendship was true.
Look at us now
Keeping in touch out of high school
Our friendship growing stronger
And getting to know each other better.
All this time we've been talking
Has led us to become best Buddy's.
There's nothing more I can ask from you
All I ever ask for is a true honest friendship
And that's what you've given me
Thank you...
