Chaotic X

by Kristi White   Jan 20, 2008

She was amazed by the magic
yet afraid of what it could do.
She was perplexed by your love
but confused on loving you.
She was not a she but a me
and the words are hard to find.
Everything is jumbled up
it's chaotic in my mind.
I only wanted black and white
but I was shocked to see
all the different colors
that had aroused inside of me.
Theres nothing but dismal
running through my head
as all the things I once thought
were replaced with what you said.
Night came the day he left
It was a feeling I never knew
I didn't expect it would last forever
but I didn't think it'd end so soon.
But then he came along
and flashed a light to shall remain
proving to me that the rainbow
was well worth all the rain.
He was amazed by the magic
and he knew just what to do.
He was perplexed in a state of love
and was not a he, but you.
Your words flown so naturally
organized and right in place.
It was chaos in your heart
but you loved me all the same.
