Will she fallow

by chrystalpeterson   Jan 24, 2008

I went out into the world unsure of my steps,
Always seeking for something new.
A hand then came to help me through,
And a friendship grew.

Two little girls going crazy,
Always at each others side.
They grew up and things changed,
And their friendship almost died.

One girl was doing well,
And doing good in life.
The other girl became involved in drugs,
And would do almost anything to be cool.

Her belly gets bigger,
Then it’s flat as paper.
Now I have this friend unsure of her steps,
Not knowing what to do.

I am offering my hand to hold her up,
Trying to help her through.
All I can do now is hope she will hold on,
Hope that she will fallow through.
