Heart of darkness

by william   Jan 25, 2008

And you've found your way into the Amazon,
Where you've come about to find your spirit...
You’re sure, the wilderness shall soon have you long gone,
Yet deep down you no longer fear it...

A Cimarron in the wilds,
Maroon in the city.
You want to be free,
free from the man and his sinister child.
Free for all of eternity...
Escaping society,
surviving independently.
Isolated inevitably.

You don't know what's in this door to the left,
that faces west...
It repels a positive sense.
Feeling of passion, vibration of providence.
Something tells me there's hope for us in the east...
An almighty aroma of fate...
And you sense it's just a matter of day's maybe weeks,
until the vaporous beast emerges from its cage.

And so you've found your way into the Amazon,
Where you've come about to find your spirit...
You’re sure, the wilderness shall soon have you long gone,
Yet deep down you no longer fear it...
And so you find, the Heart of Africa,
Different from the voyage you thought you were embarking upon.
And it was within the Safari's heart,
where you found your sinister counterpart.
