December

by cass   Jan 29, 2008

It all gets quiet
On a cold December day
There is no riot
Unlike in May.

The temperature drops
The snow starts to fall
There are no more crops
The snow covered it all.

We miss some school
Due to snowdays and delays
The weather is cool
We can chill all day.

The holiday season is here
family and friends gather all around
Nothing no matter what, can defeat that cheer
The true meaning of winter was found.
