When we were kids

We used to smile and laugh relax and watch the time pass, back when we were kids
So young and free inseparable you and me
As we got older and took on new forms, we would rock those bodies and puttin a hurtin' on em', back when we were kids
You and I the best of friends so many things that we got in, all the trouble and time spent, memories that will never end
Then One day I looked up you and I were all grown up, no time to just sit and play we got jobs and bills to pay
And sometime when I lost track our lives changed a while back
And while you and I are grown raising families of our own, miles and miles apart you will always be in my heart
Now I smile and laugh it's funny how fast time has passed
So young and free inseparable you and me
Back when we were kids
