At Midnight

by Beautiful Chaos   Jan 30, 2008

The sun is sinking,
Through the sky,
Colours swirling,
In reply.

Drink it in,
This sinful joy,
A wild girl,
A timid boy.

Lost within,
This mass confusion,
Spinning world,
Of such delusion.

Love,
Is all that holds them here,
Side by side,
No trace of fear.

Faith that love,
Is all they need,
Bound together,
Somehow freed.

Upon the twelve,
They'll say their vows,
Live their life,
As time allows.

This moment on,
A brand new start,
Two souls shall bind,
One beating heart.
