As I Sit Here

by Dying Beautifully   Feb 1, 2008

I sit here and think,
Of you my love.
Outside there is a rink,
And snow is falling from above.

I wonder where you are,
What your doing right now?
Whether you be near or far,
For you I delicatly bow.

I sit here and wonder,
About love and life.
About a mother and father,
A husband and wife.

Where will we be five years from now,
Together or apart?
There is no way of knowing how,
But to look at the beating of my heart.

To see the beauty,
The flesh and skin.
To know it truly,
The love from within.

I sit here and smile,
Stand up and close my diary.
Because it has taken me a while,
To realize our destiny.

I love you and no one else,
No matter what you do.
No matter your wealth,
I just want one thing and it's you.

I love you Connor
