Love as a Flower

by Crimson Isengard   Feb 1, 2008

Love is as a tender rose
Sometimes it withers off and dies
Sometimes it blossoms and grows
Love is as a tender rose

Love is as a wicked rose
It cuts the soul with tiny thorns
Sharper than the devil's horns
Love is as a wicked rose

Love is as the dying rose
Without good care it fades away
Like the setting sun of a summer's day
Love is as the dying rose

Love is like a newborn rose
With gentle guidance it is bliss
Before the eyes its beauty shows
Love is like a newborn rose

Love as a flower is the rose
It can grow to be many a different bloom
It can bear tidings of joy or gloom
Love as a flower is the rose
