Burning Troy

by Carly   Feb 3, 2008

She stares out the window
and awaits for his return
So many screams outside
as the city slowly burns
She knew the consequences
when they crossed the sea
That their love was forbidden
and would never be
She didn't want this war
but it's fought in her name
And all her of new life
will be devoured by flames
Everything she's loved
will soon be destroyed
And the walls will crumble
around the city of Troy
