What Is Wrong

by scott clancy   Feb 3, 2008

I lay here awake wondering what is wrong
What has changed
I think back a few days and remember that night on the porch
kisses so sweet and tender the look in your eyes
I don't know what has changed i do know that the sweetness I tasted, the feelings that came to fruition at that moment were, at least to me, real and full of meaning
I lay here awake wondering what is wrong
What has changed
Eyes full of happiness, yet fear deep within
Skin so soft
A heart skips a beat or two and you say, "What?"
"Nothing", I say
Our lips met again, embarrassing the sweetness of one another
Two souls, if only for a moment, united as one
I lay here awake wondering what is wrong
What has changed

A heart has awakened, a soul filled with joy

Two worlds colliding into one
I ask for your heart
As the minutes pass by my heart grows heavy
Is this goodbye or until yet again
I lay here awake wondering what has changed
Baby........ What is wrong
