It's all gone

by Sarah   Feb 5, 2008

I came to you tonight seeking for an answer
An answer to a question that I don't dare to ask
They said it's true but I denied it
I came to you hoping to drift my fears away,
To tell me it's all a lie
And what's between us is true and unbreakable
That the chains of future wont shatter the bond we built
But I saw something in your eyes that scared me
Something that made my body shivers in horror
There was no spark...
That shimmering spark that lightened your eyes in every time we meet
You came toward me held me in your arms close to your body
But it was as cold as ice...the warmth has suddenly fade a way
You said I love you...but wait? Where is that passion that once burned?
Where are you? What happened to the women I loved
In a great effort and pain I finally ask...what's wrong?
And then you said the words that broke my heart and tore me up apart
We are over
Then many words came out of your moth...but I was deaf
I couldn't hear a word
You tried to explain; tears came out of your eyes
But I couldn't wipe them away not any more
You are not mine any more
We were one; now we are two apart
After that, many question marks appeared in my head
When? Why? How?
Then I realized that these questions won't do me any good
It's all gone ...

I can imagine the situation, am sure it was big shock for you as it shows in this line "Then many words came out of your moth...but I was deaf "

loved this part more "You tried to explain; tears came out of your eyes
But I couldn't wipe them away not any more
You are not mine any more
We were one; now we are two apart"
