A Sweet Ride

by Sarah   Feb 5, 2008

Her little heart was crumbling
Her hands were shaking
She was petrified and anxious
Glad and excited
She knew she'd see him
And much more she knew she'd ride that cloud one last time
Walking toward it was like walking toward a death camp
She was the prisoner who's frightened of death, yet hoping for relief
Then she was in...in that cloud...with that angel
Desirous to chatter
Seeking for words
Longing for silence
She sat there as his words seeped to her heart
Like a soft desirable music
That weak heart which couldn't endure more
Then time passed by
They are there
Where they should be
Awake from that dream
Going back to reality
To lonesome and solitary where she belongs
Memories are all that's left
From a sweet adorable love
That once lived in their stubborn broken hearts
