Bella + Edward

by Elizabeth   Feb 5, 2008

Clouds-
That mask the sky,
The day-
Colored gray,
Kids talk-
as I enter the room
I try not to listen-
to what they say.
Introductions-
Some kids are brave,
Correction-
On my name.
Entering-
the cafeteria,
tring not to meet gazes.
I glance around,
as I sit down.
I spot them,
kids more beautiful then any other,
especially him.
I ask questions,
about them,
from my new friend.
Their different,
a fact anyone with eyes could see,
then he looked at her,
then at me.
I lowered my head quickly,
"if looks could kill"
I glanced back swiftly,
"whats his deal?"
A week passes,
he doesn't show,
its because of me,
this I know.
But then he returns,
more friendly,
more about him,
I learn.
I soon become obsessed,
I didn't know why,
I became panicked/flustered,
when I looked into his eyes.
Identities,
were soon reviled,
and he told me about that day,
just what was his deal.
Even after knowing what he was,
I couldn't turn away.
Even though my life was put in danger,
and still is to this day.
Even with this knowledge,this fact,
I'll march forward,
I won't look back.
Because without him,
my life would not be whole,
The one thing that could kill me,
is the one thing I can't let go.
