Sometimes there is a drought in my soul
And the rain won't fall day or night...
When I found out she died I couldn't cry
I didn't see her before, no chance to say goodbye...
You see her walking down the street
With her hair swaying all nice and neat...
Sneaking thoughts crawled unseen within me
Waiting for the moment when they would be set free...
They just assumed it was like every other day
That she wanted to die but she'd be okay...
They whispered hushed conversations
As they quietly voiced their temptations...
I wrote this with poetry magnets and I didn't want...
Always breaking...
I was hoping it'd be a different kind of day
But the thoughts in my head won't go away...
A skull ring, 3 black bracelets, red earrings, and...
A thick layer of eyeliner, a polka-dot shirt, and...
Tears run down my cheek
They're streaming, as I'm reluctant to speak...
My emotions are something hard to explain
Sometimes I feel they're making me insane...
Have you ever heard the stories of Jonestown?
Of a preacher so horrid he killed all around...
