Sometimes it seems as though
it's more than simple sunbeams as light shines through the clouds
It's as though God puts them out
for angels
stairways to Heaven
when the rain is finished pouring down

There are some things about life you'll want to forget. Moments treasured you'll wish you could remember. Loved ones who will die with noone to take their place in life.
But stand strong, 'cuz like it or not,
You'll eventually need to move on

Call me a crazy stupid fool because I fell in love with you...but don't you see who the real fool is?
In saying what you did it's me you lose...

This world is always dropping shit from the sky
That's what they call the rain in our lives

Mute life, pause time, rewind death-say goodbye

The truth is we're both turning away from the truth in front of our face
We don't even acknowledge the fact that we could know what it is
That we could really be friends-
Now that, for us, is an impossible case

Independent and alone
Broken and gone
Only remains of a new life live on

Act how you don't feel
Ignore the pursuing pain
This is what's real
You have nothing to gain
