so i haven't wrote a poem in forever.
but i did last night.

i really want to know what people think of this one.

I know what its like to want to die
how it hurts to smile.
how you try to fit in but you cant
how you hurt yourself on the outside
to try to kill the pain on the inside

When you numb the pain for so long,
it hurts worse when it wears off.

I wish i was the girl you'd fall for
when everyone's falling for you.

Take a gun called hate
up against your heart.

I've become used to those
long phone calls & late night talks.
i don't think i'll ever stop waiting up for them.

Sometimes its so much easier
to admit that you don't care,
than to admit that it's killing you.

Sometimes things can't be perfect
all the time,
that i know.
sometimes you've got to learn
to just let the things you love go.

There are two kinds of people in the world.
the kinds that cry at night
& listen to sad songs
and there are those that sing in the shower.
and play hopscotch.

Without the bad times,
there'd be nothing to compare the good times to.
