(This poem was originally written as a song)
Stuck here in the deepest night...
She crumbles to the ground
seeking desperately her true reflection...
Just for now
I'll hold you in my arms...
Put a little pressure on my bones
hit me with stones...
What have they done to me?
Jeering and stares...
I swear I'll never forget
the way the sun made your hair look golden...
He touched her
"You're guilty" he told her...
I held my hand
to the wound...
It's such a sad love
Deep in my heart there's no ending...
The sun dips below the horizon
with it's bleeding trail...
I can't explain
how I'm feeling now...
I'll just close my eyes and
pretend that I'm not here...
