Everybody needs to belong somewhere...

People stabbing you in the back
leaving a trail of broken hearts...

I'm writing you this letter
I'm going to try to explain...

I feel I'd rather be someone else
someone that would matter...

I've got news for you
you're the one that left me with a broken heart...

My heart is at the edge of the world
deciding if it should jump and hit the ground...

Another 17 candles wasted
On just another lost soul...

At first I didn't trust you
now I know meeting you was fate...

I want to be dead but still alive
now that I'm not with you...

I used to sit here and wonder
what life was really about...
