The shock bleeds the red from my face,
When I hear someone's taken my place.
How could love be so thoughtless, so cruel?

The one I love drowning me in my dreams.

I died in my dreams, what's that supposed to mean?
Got lost in the fire.
I died in my dreams, reaching out for your hand.
My fatal desire.

The knife is more faithful than people like you.

Without it all, I'm choking on nothing.
It's clear in my mind and I'm screaming for something.
