    Suffering

Was there ever a time when I loved myself?
When the sting of words spit, did not rip my soul?
Was there ever a moment of bliss when I felt it was all going to be okay?

My mind is to worn to recall such a moment,
I feel like I am nothing, that I am no one,
I have feelings, they do not matter,
My soul aches and no one soothes it.

From my eyes, pours a river of tears,
    Mistaken only for rain,
It seems that no one sees or understands,
They can take of me but find it impossible to give.

I have been emotionally raped and left to die,
    Lost amidst these torturous thoughts,
Afraid of what will be when I no longer am,
I will suffer, for suffering is life.

    My Fictitious Perfect Valentines

    Roses may be red,
    And violets may be blue,
    But inside I feel dead,
Because of the way that I've hurt you.

    Birds may sing so sweetly,
And waves may lap the sand,
But nothing can replace the way,
I feel when you hold my hand.

You can say the words "I hate you,"
They make me love you even more,
They show to me that you still care,
Even though I walked out the door.

The kitchen knife may whisper its promise,
And I may still give in,
Take it across my milk white wrists,
    And commit my final sin.

    My makeup may be running,
And my tears may stain my face,
But all I know is that to fix this hole,
I have to get out of this place.

This day may come to a fateful end,
Or you may still be mine,
But you will know that this was not,
    My fictitious perfect valentines.

Don't Tell me That I Don't Love You

    Don't tell me I don't love you
    Now listen, don't you dare
Don't ever tell me I don't love you
    Or that I never cared.
Don't tell me that you hate me,
    I've heard it all before,
Don't tell me you won't be crying,
When I'm lying dead upon the floor.
Don't tell me that I wanted to do this,
Don't tell me I'm not trying my best,
Don't tell me that you're going to leave me,
Don't tell me we'll fail this test.
Now don't you dare go crying,
Now don't you dare be scared,
Now don't you dare be thinking,
    That I've obviously never cared.
Don't tell me that I don't love you,
When all I can think of is you,
Don't tell me that you don't love me,
Just tell me that this isn't true.

    Infernal Sacrilege

Lust colors nights plunged in blackened blood
    as misanthropy sketches wandering carnival,
    soaking paintbrushes with passionate imagination-
devil's marks drew open wounds over daydreams.

His hands ravage these asylums, brick by brick
    whispering tempting pain, whispering delusions-
whispering silhouettes whisper within madman's eyes-
whispers of soft, silky, whispering silence.

Deplore silent delirium of my somber meditations-
Lucifer's infernal magic crawls down sheets of coy,
    embracing my body as it gives away confessions;
whispered screams metamorphose into screaming whispers.

Shadows dance swirling and spinning, mutating
into heart- eating beasts crowned with liquid anticipation
inside of this kingdom locked for mortal strokes,
sealed with bloody kisses and crimson sacraments.

    On Goes the World
    By: Brittney Schmelter

On the deserted streets of New York
There lies a shivering man who yearns..
For just one kind smile or loving hand
The crowd moves, not one head turns.

    On Goes the World

Crude words are yelled out the door
Out storms a man heading for the car.
Two kids left behind, watch as mom dies.
Who could have known it'd go so far?

    On Goes the World

A teen's dragged to a rave, by her 'friends'
The intoxicated girl is grabbed by the arm
To drunk to realize, goes with the man...
There in the dark he does her great harm.

    On Goes the World

A child with hate etched inside his mind,
Snatches a blade and heads to the room
There inside lies his sleeping baby sister
Too young to realize that he's her doom.

    On Goes the World

Many twisted things happen in this world
People CAN do something, but no one dares.
Men hide behind their cowardice and pride...
I've come to realize that really: No One Cares.

    And On Goes the World

    Blackness Reigns

    by DarkSpirit

The numbers are just piles of ashes
    mislaid within black revolutions;
visions collide inside the mind building paths
    of mixed art,
    there, where the blackness reigns.

    Torches swallowed hypocrisy
while the heart of darkness spilled tinted blood
to flow through the veins, searching
    for risen life,
    there, where the blackness reigns.

Molecules of contingency recolored with ink
    ravaged handbooks,
engulfing letters of the bible on their way...
... and the stars fall into the cried oceans,
    there, where the blackness reigns.

His eyes are just an illusion of presence
-- in the microworld titans crawl across the sky --
    satisfying the passion transmitted through
    luminous fields within the brain,
    there, where the blackness reigns.

Kingdom placed on the palm posses never-ending dawn
    and the twilight is just another form of beauty;
obscurity stares at the feast of magpies before it
-- actually sitting inside of its palace--
    there, where the blackness reigns.

    The world is split in half;
    nightmarish, infiltrating harbor of corpses
    is just obtrusive suburb
    of celestial mimics that formed
    dimensions where the blackness reigns.

Ok here's mine. It doesn't rhyme but I'm fairly satisfied.

    Blood

    The blood is everywhere
    her head is pounding
    her heart is racing
    her vision is fading

    The blood is spreading
    her thoughts are unclear
    her movements are slowing
    the blood is still pouring

    Blood, blood, and more blood
at first there was only pain
    now she's just numb
    her life is leaving

    Still there is blood
    all over the walls
    all over the floor
    all over her hands

    Whose blood is all this?
there's too much for just her
    memories rush back to her
it's his blood on her hands

    The blood is everywhere
    his and hers combined
they couldn't be together in life
so she made sure as the breath escaped her lips

...they would be together forever in death...
