How do you make someone trust you?

i didn't do anything wrong, he is just untrusting due to past relationships. he says he's cynical towards love..what can i do to change that?

how can i prove i'm not someone he needs to be distrustful of?

anyone know?
i'll take any advice i can.

`You can't. That's the thing about trust: They have to be able to accept you into their lives themselves, and if you're doing your best, they'll end up trusting you sooner or later. You can't make them trust you; you can't really "prove it"; you just gotta give it time and let it slowly begin to build at its own pace.
You can't do anything about it really, because you're not them. Neither are you a higher power. If it's because of past relationships -- he'll end up getting over them -- just give him time. You can't change his opinion -- you can affect it, by being your loving self towards him. He'll warm up.

Yeah I have trust issues as well. and I can relate to the guy you are talking about. just continue being you and if you are going to make promises for goodness sakes keep them lol because that wont help the situation you are in either.

i'd be a lot easier probably if i didnt have an anxiety disorder. it makes me have a hard time initiating conversations. and it seems like he never initiates them anymore since the first 2 days of us knowing each other.

any good convo starters u guys know of? lol

With trusting just try and be yourself and eventually he will realize that you are there and you do love him? The person has to realize that themself.

Yeah i know...i need to be patient. but we havent even hung out since the day after we met...he's like ALWAYS busy (supposedly)...or he could just be avoiding me...=[ who knows.

i wanna be able to be like "hey Tyler, wanna hang out _____". but i get so nervous x.x
