title remember, heart and soul

I remember the way she looked me in my eyes
and without words we would communicate
i remember when we would run around in towel capes
the times we shared i can't escape

my heart remembers the warmth of her hands
and the way it fell from her grasp like grains of sand
my heart remembers when it overflowed with pain
yet i fell for her all over again

my soul remembers the loving presence of her soul
the shared moments that seem would never fail
my soul remembers when we share one body
a time when nothing was held back

forgetting her i can't do that how can i forget my past?
my heart aches from being sad.
My eyes betray me with tears gone mad.
her memory tortures my soul keeping it contained.

for one more chance i would die of heart break. our memory are bound with chains.
My heart is full of shame.
My soul is filled with blame.

Let me confess and the truth be told
she is my memory that i want back whole.
for her my heart turns cold.
And My soul is made for.

only she can correct all these flaws
She gives my memory wings so it can soar.
She makes my heart open its frozen doors.
And my soul returns to her never wanting more.

So you see she is the girl i will ever love

Now You're Gone- I apologize for the length, but I think it was necessary.

I see you've left, and gone away.
When again shall I see you?
You're one of the best friends I've ever had.
These are the memories I hold of you:

Arguing togther, over nothing at all,
next to each other in a history class.
I never dreamed I'd come to love,
The one whom I'd harrass.

Being together, those days in spring,
I never thought I was your "one,"
Speaking as best friends, staying together,
Spending a lifetime out in the sun.

Long summer days in a bowling alley,
Five dollars to cover the cost of the gift.
Silver jersey and wheeled sneakers on,
Dancing along to fast guitar riffs.

Leaning on my shoulder, telling a joke,
Accompanied by my mini-skirt's lace,
Stealing things and acting profoundly,
While music filled the place.

Long phone calls on a Thursday night,
Spent talking about nothing real.
My love for metaphors, your best friends,
And the ways that we both feel.

Propping your legs up onto mine,
Your cologne's scent still fills this air.
Sitting alone, talking ever so slowly,
Touching my face, clothes, and hair.

Before Christmas Break, I'd gotten my wish-
You were finally mine.
I spent ten vain days in happiness,
Before I realized, it wasn't our time.

Valentine's day spent thinking of you,
Taking over my Ozzy sunglasses,
Feelings of hope under red agony,
Writing love poems to break the masses.

Akward glances, our eyes would meet.
My name was spoken eventually,
Laughing off Fridays spent near you,
Those words were lies, essentially.

But now you've left, and gone away.
When again shall I see you?
One of the best friends I've ever had;
Those were the memories I'd held of you.

It`s like octagons and roses that line a wall of doubt,
side to side they`re filled with pools and pools of _ :
what`s that word again?

It`s the emotion that I feel every time you`re near me,
The voice inside my head screaming, " love me, love me".
My emptiness is filled at the sound of your name -
Yet, I still can`t trust that this isn`t some kind of game.

You`ve got me holding on too tightly - I`m afraid to fall.
You`ve got emotions going on inside me - wishing you my all.
And, I still can`t figure out what your words are saying . . .
since you haven`t a clue the attention that I`m paying.

I feel a little bit obsessive, and as if I need professionals,
and I sometimes when I'm with you I can`t make any sense -
Now I`m at a loss for words on how you make me feel,
