John Lennon

One of the great modern poets of our time. I especially like his first solo album, The Plastic Ono Band. Just heard that there's a new DVD coming out for that album that tells the story behind the album and has song analyses. If you don't know or remember most of his classics are from that album like morning class hero, mother, god love. Check it out, it's worth a look. I love Lennon! He was born on my birthday!

I like some of Lennon's music. But he was like most poets a hypocrite.

^ And like most humans are.

I don't know much about Lennon but I do like some of his songs. The ones I know ... Anyway, I'm not that interested in him so I won't buy the dvd.

Imagine.........one of the most beautiful songs, but as a solo artist , in my opinion , he was very overrated , except for "imagine" his songs never reached the level of the beatles

I like that man, he was the best of the beatles.

I totally agree, he had an beautiful talent which was sadly taken with him.

david chapmann ended that feeling and all hope of a beatle reunion which was a dream of all beatle
fans. his music will live on foever and there will always be different oppinions of john as it should be
john did'nd try to change the world he just try to sing songs that made us all try to live in peace

He sang for peace and for unity. It's really too bad that he had to die.

I wonder if he would still be as popular today if he were alive? it's very interesting.
