Web of Lies. [Vent.]

Letely everyone's been lying to me about something, my mom my sister. my best friends. i feel like i cant trust a word anybody says anymore. Trust has always been a hard thing. But when people i do trus have it, they lie to me. And how do you trust someone that lies to you? I cant do that. Not me.

Am I the only one whos contantly getting lied to?

And why is it me that every lie has to hit?

If someone you love lies, be happy for that because believe me, the truth is so much harsher...

Lies gives a person some security... if you actually think about it...

It takes time and effort to lie and very little to tell the truth... Your relatives and chums love you therefore they lie until you're capable to handle the truth

^... I disagree with that statement completely.
I would loathe my loved ones and family if they lied to be just because they didn't think I was able to handle the truth. Because not only did they deceive me, but then they'd end up hitting me with the "brutality" of the truth later on anyway.

I find it better to just say it straight out. I mean, honestly. Deceiving them and then later telling them the brutal truth anyway? What's the point?

If someone lied to me, and then I'd find out that they did later on--I would LOSE all security, but only if I trusted them. Because they ARE my security. If they start lying to me, who the hell is telling me the truth?

^That's one of the worst things people can do to me. I hate when people lie to 'protect you'. It doesn't protect anyone, it just gives you a whole load of more issues to deal with once you actually learn the truth..because then not only do you have to deal with that cold harsh truth you also have to deal with people you thought were honest with lying and you end up having trust issues. Besically telling the truth wins in everysituation..no matter how bad, even if it hurts.

I'm a strong beliver in truth even if it brings tears rather than lies that can bring a smile. But maybe that's just me.

To original person, Courtneyy, deal with it straight on. Tell them you don't like the lying and that it's making you doubt the trust you have given them. The only way they will try to stop lying is if you tell them that..and then if they continue to lie even after your request for them to stop, well then you really have a trust problem.

theres nothing wrong with the truth. its not a hard thing to spit out.

I cant stand liars! I can understand little white lies but when the lie is something that can really hurt a person there is no excuse. Ive been really hurt in the past with a close friend lying to me that affected me and my child but i actually caught the person out. If they had of just told me it wouldnt have hurt so much. I have since forgiven my mate but I still cant trust them 100% and they know that. Lies will unfold eventually and there is no pointing in doing so.
