I swear i have never been so scared.

Hey all,
Well today i was on my way home from school and i was walking behind this little old man...and it was super icy my friends were bugging him because he was talking to himself but, i just ignore the fact my friends were being jerks. we were crossing the street and i got this uneasy feeling and i thought "Mabey i should hold his arm just incase he falls" But i ignored the feeling and BAM the little old man fell...my friends went into hysteria and i ran towards him to help him.....I was to little to help him up by myself and my friends were still laughing i yelled at the top of my lungs "Shut your pie holes, GROW up and come and help me" they looked shocked they stopped laughing and came to help me. When i seen the man's face there was BLOOD everywhere...my natural reaction was to take off my sweater and start dabbing his face because blood was getting in his eyes and his mouth was filling with blood and i told him to spit before he chokes on his teeth. He sat there while i dabbed his face and my friends were all looking at me like i was crazy. It was like i new EXACTLY what to do....i told him to not make any sudden movements and to apply pressure on his face and i will call an abulance for him. before i walked away he grabbed my arm and said "Thank you miss...thank you from the bottom of my heart"...I walked away and tears started pouring down my face. I mean i didn't think it was a big deal that i helped him but it meant the world to him...he told me he would pay for my sweater and i told him he could have it....and that it was no problem...i mean my heart literally melted when i seen his eyes and he said thank you...i always wanted to be a nurse and thats what i will be taking next year but i was having doubts until today....it felt so good to help that man, i walked away and i felt like i actually saved the world...i know i didnt but to 1 man i did..lol
But i just wanted to know if anything like that has ever happened to you, I mean an experience that you feel was a plan to happen??? or is it just me?

OMG scooby, I majorly emotional and that brought tears to my eyes. That was really sweet what you did and I'm really glad you were there for him.

He's someone's dad or grandfather or uncle. I bet they're grateful you were there to help him. Just think what would've happened if you weren't there and your friends just laughed at him?

I know what you mean when you feel like you've saved the world. I guess that feeling is what makes a lot of people wanna be nurses and doctors. I think you'll be a great nurse.

Now that I think of it, this happened to me once, not exactly like you, but it was pretty freaky.

On 9/11, I was in 5th grade. I had NO idea what the Twin Towers were, I didn't even know that they existed. But anyway, I was in music, it was like 5 of 9 and this one thought came to my mind: "Something bad is going to happen today, a lot of people are going to get killed or something" and when I got home from school, my bro came outside and he's like, "the twin towers have crashed. A TON of people are dying." I was SO freaked out.

well i once had this feeling tat i saved the world , i was 12yr old wen i saved a stray dog puppy from drowning in high drain ,the puppy bcame quite attach 2 me n wud follow b everywhere.but few days later a villainous boy from my neighbourhood thru the puppy in highway n it was crushed under wheels .
10yrs later the pain is still the same.
