Dumb

At times I feel like all this stuff is just dumb. My own posts included. I look back a few days and the posts are just ridiculous. I am trippin' tonight because I did a follow up on one of the poems I wrote about a little boy who was raped, kidnapped, and killed. He was 6 years old and put in a trash bag after they did their deeds to him. I feel as sick now as I did then. Maybe I am being so judgemental about "our" posts, because it sickens me that we can co-exist in a world so defamed by this type of abuse that it is commonplace and not acknowleged unless it hits the front line papers.

Honestly, we are self absorbed creatures. Unless it is hitting us at home, too many don't pay attention or feel like the fight is hopeless anyway, so why bother. The only way to change it is to find a voice and use it.

Hmmm. Maybe a lot of us do like talking about trivulous (sp) things like that...but we also help people too.

I think that everyone needs an outlet. I think that everyone does do their bit, or at least most of us do. Even the people you say are 'sick'. Im sure that they do care lots and lots about stuff, but the thing that they might have done, just prevents others from seeing the good.

I think its a shame that we cant see the best in everyone. Im not being ignorant. I get hurt by someone in my family, really badly. But i still love him to bits, and i think thats just the way i am.

I wish more people could see the best in people, rather than the bad...

Yeah it is actually crazy to thing how humans can be so oblivious to what is actually happening in the world. I have come to realize that no matter what you are going through there is always someone worse off than yourself.

People need to starts paying more attention to unheard of issues which they are all oblivious to.
