How does a poem win ?

Hello..

i have been on this website for like 4 years and i still haven't figured out how does a poem win ? and if the answer is you have to join a contest then how did one of my poem win, i have never participated in any contests. one day i just logged on and my poem had a win button infront of it... Some one can explain please ?

A poem wins by jumping through five different hoops, performing a short ballet, then laughing hysterically at the universe.

Thats sounds hard. No wonder I can't get any Wins! XD :P
