I think some of you need a BIGGER stick to stir the bull butter around here. Speaking of which, some have said that Britt causes drama. In my opinion Joe is the one that started this thread and he at first states he wishes everyone well on the mod team then comes back with "his side". Seems he is the one creating the drama by even putting this on the main forum. Shouldn't this have been a private matter between the mods and not aired for public crapping? I know everyone is trying to let everyone have a say but in my opinion there are just some things that shouldn't be aired. So who really has started the drama?

When I stop being active and I stop making PnQ a priority, I will step down. That's the bar that's been set.

Should the voices of 5 mods not count for anything? 5 of us told Joe that he wasn't active enough and for that reason, he shouldn't be a mod. He could have said, "Ok I hear you guys, I will be more active. Let me show you I can be part of the team." Instead, he demoted himself. It was his decision in the end. He could have been more active and prevented our general feeling that he didn't do anything.

As for this berating of the new mods - they are mods now and they have been carefully selected to be part of our team. We are equals on the mod squad, there is no patronizing of newer mods. A mod is a mod is a mod, it doesn't matter for how long. There's no moving up on the ranks. It's a plateau.

Britt, you were a "new" Mod...and would have been for quite sometime...it's like being a teacher, you don't get 10 year by being one for a few years...

Sorry I disagree, drama is when you post it on these main forums for everyone to have a go at the mods and members being at each others throats for disagreeing.

I agree with you. When I was out for surgery for a few months everyone picked up the slack and no one complained one bit.

The only time there was ever a complaint was when Bob went to the mountains for a few days on his bike and did not tell us. Even then the complaint was that we were concerned about him....

A few days gone? Who cares? A few months gone with a valid excuse (hospitalization for sure) and then you're back? Who cares? 7 months of continuous excuses for why you have been gone and for why you will be gone? I care about that.

What's done is done. Joe and Britt have both stepped down.

Thanks, Boobie.... he does treat me like a princess and I am so grateful and appreciative of him.

I don't know how it helps alleviate it. I will be honest in saying that I am pissed as hell about it all, but I guess that is something that I will have to deal with.
