Piercings :)

I wanted to ask..do guys also get pircings..coz if i did such a thing..my parents would first disown me, then kill me...

My dad didn't know about my belly button for a while, nor my tongue till he saw them and oh did he flip. But since I'm 19 now he can't really do anything.

And yes guys do get piercings now lol some look really good, others look horrible. And aww haha

Though guys do get them, its not something i plan on doing...it scares me, i mean, dont those things hurt when getting done

Oh I got it at 15. I really wanted it done and he wouldn't take me so I had my friend take me to her piercer. When he saw it he flipped out. I of course refused to take it out; didn't help that situation at all lmao so I said I "didn't" have it but kept it all along lol

And actually no they don't. Depends on the person though. I have a very high pain tolerance and none of my piercings hurt at all. Ive heard the worst piercing or one of them is a dermal. I was gonna get one but decided not too bcuz everybody here is gettin them and I don't follow trends

Then start your own trend, piece it where evrybody will copy from you. I would love tatoo's though..i think i would do my whole upper body except my neck and head.

Nah I don't Want a dermal anymore :). I have 2 tattoos so far. I'm gettin one w my best friend on my wrist and maybe a quote on the back of my neck. You just gotta remember with. Certain careers you can't have them. Or they won't hire you bcuz of them

I will put mine in places that they cant be seen, i wont mention the places though..lol

So I have a question for people with lip piercings! :)

My body has always been really weird with piercings. I pierced my lip myself through scar tissue with a piercing needle. Its been like 6 weeks & well I keep playing it aha i can't help it. I clean it twice a day with sea salt soaks & use mouthwash. Well my question is that its still red & like its a white rim kinda around the lip ring
-its not infected, i know the signs-
But like clear or the white puss comes out if i push really hard on the piercing.

My body is obviously taking longer to heal, but is that normal or what could I do to make it heal faster?

6 weeks is not a big deal. Some piercings take up to a year to heal depending on your body and how ou care for them. I wouldn't worry about it.

There's nothing abnormal about a clear puss-like liquid coming out of it - that's just your body's natural response, treat it sort of like a scab. Don't pick at it too much and if you MUST get rid of it, soak it and use a q-tip or what have you to wipe it away. As for making it heal faster, there's not much you can do. Just consider it an open wound until it chills out.
