Ok...maybe separately it was said but...in the past when anyone has questioned what we in the western world hear in the news...it's been very quickly denied..maybe not by you but, just in general...saying...it's not happening...we are being misinformed and now...this happens and suddenly....things/thoughts from your side (generalzing here) appear different?

The thing is only the official Syrian channel is not showing what is really happening in Syria. That's it. All Arabian Medias are showing the truth (I mean, ten thousands are dying... refugees in many Arab countries... It's obvious.), except for this channel which is controlled by Bashar and his party.

I don't have time, nor the desire to troll through previous threads to make my point Abed but....if you do then I'm sure you will find more than one statement that says....we in the western world are being misinformed about what is happening in the middle east.

Anyway....this came up on my MSN today and I was wondering how much truth is in it....I know islam frowns on alcohol but...would this be normal/approprate punishment for someone who strays?
