Nicko did what he should've done in the beginning, taken it to a PM.

Now you are starting something -- did you think this would be posted and everyone would be like 'oh, okay, cool, we know all about Nicko now'... no of course not. Wait for the crap to sling, because it will.. especially after Jane's final comment in the last thread before locking it.

I don't get this new thread thing people keep doing.

Edit -- technically it was the old rule, I don't know if it still is. By taking a thread off topic long ago people used to get penalized. The mods have gotten lax on it (if it's still a rule), but Nicko himself has been penalized I'm sure for going off topic in a thread.. so it makes sense why he'd say it.

Then you report it to the mods, you don't take it to the main boards.

That's actually a very sweet PM compared to the PM's I've gotten before. The ones that were especially nasty, I just report to the mods and delete it so I don't have to see it again. I've never brought it to the main boards like this.

PM's, fighting, bickering, going back and forth with new threads, it's all ridiculous, don't try to pin it on just one thing.

Every single day we have stupid crap popping up. No wonder it gets so dead.

I am bringing it to the main boards because he is crucifying LP but he himself is acting in a deplorable way sending me that pm.

Oh my god. Taking it to PM is what he (and EVERYONE) was instructed to do.

You may never post a PM without the author's permission. I will not penalize you, Karla, because I assume you didn't know of this rule... But it is still surprising to me that you think it's okay to post someone's private words to you in a public place.

If you have a problem with a private message from someone then either talk to them directly or report it to the moderators.

Your post will be edited without penalty and this thread locked.

Jane, I thought a lot before doing what I did and I did because Nicko is complaing about LP but he needs to grow up too.Besides I felt offended when he says what I think is irrelevant.

What you think is not irrelevant, and you shouldn't be brushed off like that. Also, you cannot be penalized for going off topic in thread, though we do encourage appropriateness of off topic posts... As in, don't defame a congratulatory or celebratory thread. Likewise, don't turn a serious thread into a joke.
